Cardiovascular disease continues to be the leading cause of death in our society as well as a significant source of morbidity. Health care costs associated with cardiovascular diseases are among the highest. More than ever a strong partnership with our associates in primary care is critical to provide state of the art, streamlined and comprehensive cardiac care. This activity was designed to provide essential updates on frequently encountered topics in cardiology and encourage networking during the event with an emphasis on communication and working relationships with those providers on the front line.

Accreditation Statement
The Yale School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. 

Designation Statement
The Yale School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

MOC Points

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 6.50 Medical Knowledge. Only MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Part II program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

Exhibitor and Commercial Support Opportunities

We welcome industry partners to participate in the Cardiology for the Internist Symposium . Exhibitors will have the opportunity to engage with approximately 100 regional physicians and advanced practice providers attending this one-day accredited program. All exhibit spaces include a 6-foot table located outside the educational meeting room.

In accordance with ACCME and Yale CME standards, support provides an opportunity to participate and does not influence educational content, faculty selection, or attendee engagement. Attendance and exhibit traffic cannot be guaranteed, but will be encouraged. Yale CME does not share pre-registration lists or attendee contact information.
