Specialties - Cardiovascular Disease, Internal Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Primary Care, Psychiatry, Social Work, Surgery, Vascular Medicine
Professions - Non-Physician, Nurse, PA, Physician, Podiatrist, Student, Surgeon, Technician

Overview
This two-day symposium will bring together national and international interdisciplinary thought leaders and experts in cardiovascular care, adopting a multi-stakeholder perspective in a platform that aims to challenge the current status quo in the way cardiovascular care is delivered, with a heavy emphasis on highly technological care, as opposed to whole-person care.

Designing multidisciplinary cardiovascular care that can stand up to the challenges our populations face with rising needs in obesity, diabetes, an aging population, mental health-related issues, substance abuse, increased pressures on strained communities and on our society’s health care delivery systems.

The forum will also offer a unique insight into the diverse profiles of individuals affected by cardiovascular disease, which makes an appeal to diversify our workforce and expertise, as well as our training and care delivery models to meet and address the needs of communities faced with the consequences of a rising global cardiovascular disease burden. Keynote speakers will be leaders in health care administration, interdisciplinary cardiovascular experts, behavioral health experts, and key specialties interfacing with the multidisciplinary vascular care team, policymakers, industry, and academic leaders, and researchers. Some of the committed speakers include Julie Tyler, VP Abbott Vascular, Dr. William Lombardi, Dr. Gary Roubin, Dr. Martin Seligman, and Dr. Keith Churchwell (President-Elect of the American Heart Association).

As a highlight of the conference, we will be promoting the patient voice and will be involving patient experts throughout our conference program through testimonials and interaction opportunities. In the true sense of a multi-stakeholder approach, we will be able to learn from their invaluable insights and perspectives, capturing the needs and value of patient-centered integrated care experiences in the broadest sense.

The VAMOS conference will also have a live performance by musician Christian Vegh.
Christian Vegh (Indie Artist, Singer, Songwriter, Producer, and Guitarist) was born in Detroit, Michigan, and has been referred to as a "young guitar prodigy with an old soul." Christian believes in the power of music as a uniting and healing experience. His style of music has been described as Renaissance Rock and is fitting with the paradigm shift and spirit of this conference that we are building a #symphonyofminds community and energy around.

Target Audience: MDs (Primary Care Providers, Internal Medicine and all subspecialties, Interventional Radiologists, Podiatrists, Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Social workers, Surgeons–Vascular Surgeons), Mid Level Providers, Nurses, and other Healthcare Professionals.

#symphonyofminds  #VAMOS
