Overview
Yale New Haven Health is committed to becoming a High Reliability Organization (HRO) in order to reduce harm to our patients and staff caused by preventable errors. Preventable harm in health care is a serious problem. In this course, you'll learn behaviors and tools you can start using today to keep our patients, employees, and yourself safe. 


Objectives
  1. Explain why Yale New Haven Health is committed to patient and employee safety
  2. Identify how errors occur and events of harm happen
  3. Learn and commit to using our CHAMP behaviors and strategies to prevent errors from happening
  4. Understand the CHAMP behaviors to address discrimination from patients and their families as well as co-workers

Registration
This online course is intended for internal YNHH Physicians/Staff only.
Accreditation

The Yale School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Designation Statement
