1. In your presentation entitled, Unpacking the Hidden and Explicit Factors Impacting the Care of Our Patients, you noted four perspectives to consider when delivering care for any given patient, the perspective of the patient, the provider, the system, and the community.  In your opinion, which of these perspectives is impacting the care of patients most significantly during this current COVID-19 pandemic?

2.  How can we differentiate OCT progression in a high myope being related to their high myopia vs. a sign of developing glaucoma or progression of existing glaucoma?

3.  When considering central corneal thickness as a risk factor in an ocular hypertensive patient, do you consider this risk factor differently in a self-reported African American or Latinx patient versus others?

4.  Does cataract surgery impact OCT NFL measurements? How about filtering surgery?

5.  How can providers mitigate bias in the care of their patients?

15 - Question & Answer Session 2 - Soshian Sarrafpour MD

1.  Something I have noticed with the Xen implant is that there seems to be a lot of different approaches, from ab interno to ab externo to placing it supratenon versus subtenon.Do you favor any particular approach and if so why?

2.  Do you think the LIGHT study will change glaucoma practice during the pandemic?

3.  Is there a quick and easy way to distinguish a benign iris nevus from melanoma?

4.  Is there anything you recommend doing either intraoperatively or post operatively for those cases after goniotomy that have significant bleeding and hyphema formation?

5.  What is your preferred device to use for GATT?

6.  How long do you typically wait after surgery in patients having issues with their IOL implants to allow for other factors to settle down before you consider further intervention?
