Overview

Yale Breast Cancer Summit: Translating the SABCS into Practice is set to host a live symposium on Friday, January 29, 2027 (snow date: Friday, February 5, 2027). This event aims to deliver the latest advancements and pivotal insights from the 2026 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium. The San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) represents one of the premier annual international forums dedicated to advancing the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of breast cancer. This CME review synthesizes the most impactful data, emerging clinical trial results, and practice-changing findings presented at the symposium, with the goal of translating cutting-edge science into actionable clinical guidance for oncology practitioners. Drawing from the success of previous Yale Oncology CME events, we anticipate a participation of 150 learners at the symposium.

Objectives
  1. Describe the latest clinical trial data presented at SABCS and its implications for breast cancer management
  2. Identify appropriate candidates for novel therapies including ADCs, CDK4/6 inhibitors, PARP inhibitors, and immunotherapy
  3. Apply updated biomarker testing strategies, including HER2-low classification and ESR1 mutation testing
  4. Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for patients across all breast cancer subtypes and stages

Registration
  • Advance registration is required for all attendees to ensure proper seating and meal accommodations.

  • Complimentary registration is available for all physicians and healthcare professionals.

  • Industry Professional Attendee, non-exhibitor (those employed by ineligible companies such as pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturers)  must register as Industry Professional Attendee at $500 - limit two (2) per company.
