3rd Annual Yale Obesity Symposium 2026

Join us for the 3rd Annual Yale Obesity Symposium.  This full-day event is designed to improve the skill set of practitioners in treating the disease of obesity, new developments in the field of obesity and how to apply them based on input from leading experts in the field. Attendees will gain practical insights into emerging technologies, evidence-based strategies, and real-world challenges. Whether you're refining your clinical approach or exploring innovations in the field, this symposium offers valuable education in a collaborative and engaging format.

1. Understand the multifactorial causes of obesity, including genetic, environmental, and physiologic mechanisms.
2. Understand how to perform a complete evaluation of obesity.
3. Identify effective approaches to obesity management, encompassing diet, physical activity, medical and surgical therapies.
4. Discuss the impact of obesity on various health conditions, including diabetes mellitus, liver disease, insulin resistance and cardiovascular health.
5. Gain insights into the role of healthcare professionals in obesity care and the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration.

Registration fee* includes continental breakfasts, refreshment breaks, and lunch:

The Yale School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Designation Statement
The Yale School of Medicine designates this enduring material for a maximum of 6.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Parking Information 
Air Rights Garage is open 24 hours a day and located between North and South Frontage roads, straddling York St.

Walking from the garage, head southwest on York Street toward Cedar Street, for approximately 80 feet. Turn left onto Cedar Street. Continue down Cedar Street until you arrive at the intersection of Congress Avenue and Cedar Street. The Anlyan Center will be across the street.

Howard Avenue Garage, 800 Howard Ave, New Haven, CT 06519, opposite from Yale-New Haven Hospital and next to the Yale Physicians Building. The garage is located in between the streets of Davenport and Congress. It is open from 6 am to 9 pm during week days only. Walking from the garage, head south toward Congress Avenue for approximately 300 feet. Turn left onto Congress Avenue and continue walking until you arrive at the intersection of Congress Avenue and Cedar Street. The Anlyan Center is located at this intersection.
