36th Annual Conference of the Connecticut Infectious Disease Society

Thursday, May 17, 2018, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Yale West Campus

This program is designed to address knowledge and performance gaps of Connecticut Infectious Disease Society members, infectious disease clinicians, and epidemiologists. Attendees will also be updated on the additions and modifications to Connecticut's list of Reportable Diseases, Emergency Illnesses, Health Conditions and list of Reportable Laboratory Findings that were made effective January 1, 2018.

MOC Session: At the end of the day, course attendees have the opportunity to participate in a Maintenance of Certification learning session organized by the Connecticut ID Society. Please note the MOC session is not CME accredited and registration is required. For more details and to sign up for the session, please visit www.ctidsociety.org/education.html. 1. Review ACIP immunizations policies and practices
2. Discusss the management of MDRO and HAI with an interdisciplinary approach
3. Review updates on management of HIV and HCV
4. Discuss latest news in adult and pediatric infectious disease
5. Identify the latest developments in CT state epidemiology
6. At the conclusion of the program, participants will have the opportunity to participate in an ABIM MOC session (this session is not CME accredited)

Physicians – $150
Nurses/PAs/Allied Health Professionals – $55
Active CT IDSA Members (who have paid dues) – $50
Residents/Fellows/Students† – Complimentary, registration required

*All cancellations must be received in writing (or via e-mail) at least one week prior to the start of the conference to receive a refund. Any requests for refunds received after this date, or by telephone, will not be honored.

†A letter of verification from department head must accompany registration. Letter should be sent separately to Yale CME at the address below. You may also e-mail a pdf copy of your verification letter to [email protected].

Coming from the South: If you are coming from the South (New York), take I-95 North and get off at Exit 41 (Marsh Hill Rd). At the end of the ramp, go straight through the light. This is Frontage Road and the entrance ramp to I-95 Northbound. Stay in the right lane and bear right at the fork.  Follow signs to building 800, Conference Center.

Coming from the North: If you are coming from the North (Hartford/New Haven/Madison, etc.), take I-95 South. Get off at Exit 41 (Marsh Hill Rd). At the light at the end of the exit ramp take a left onto Marsh Hill Road. At the next traffic light, take a left onto the Frontage Road/I-95 Northbound entrance ramp. Follow this to the fork, stay in the right lane.  Follow signs to building 800, Conference Center.

Coming from the Merritt Parkway: Take the Merritt Parkway North to Exit 54 (Milford Connector). Go under the I-95 overpass and exit onto the ramp designated to New Haven (I-95 North). Get off at Exit 41 and continue with the directions above (Coming from the South) to reach West Campus.

GPS Users

GPS Mapping software that has not been recently updated must enter 141 Frontage Rd, Orange, CT for directions to campus. Updated devices can enter the new physical address of the West Campus Welcome Center, 100 West Campus Drive, Orange, CT. 100 West Campus Dr. is the entrance gate/welcome center to West Campus. Once you arrive at the gate, following signs to Building 800- the Conference Center. If you are taking a shuttle tell the driver Building 800, West Campus.
