Overview
Therapeutic ERCP is an important and continually evolving area of Gastroenterology. This unique forum enables participants to see experts utilize complex techniques to evaluate and manage pancreaticobiliary disorders. The morning session will feature live cases with interactive and didactic lecture. The afternoon will feature lecture, live EUS/ERCP cases and an optional hands-on wire technique breakout session for RNs/technicians. It would be our pleasure to have you join us for this enjoyable day of medical collaboration and education.

Objectives
  1. Recognize and learn how to manage complications associated with the procedure
  2. Observe and appreciate advanced techniques for gaining access to the biliary tree and pancreas
  3. Improve skills at radiological interpretation and quality image procurement
  4. Review what medications are involved during endoscopy for sedation and how a patient's current medications such as anticoagulation needs to be adjusted for such cases.

I-95 Traveling North or South
Leave I-95 at Exit 47 and merge onto Route 34 West via Exit 1. Follow signs to enter the
Air Rights Garage, entrance on left lane.


I-91 Traveling South
Leave I-91 at Exit 1 to Route 34 West/Downtown New Haven. Follow signs to enter the
Air Rights Garage, entrance on left lane.


Walking Directions: Air Rights Garage to Park Street Auditorium
Park in the General Air Rights Garage section, as the Smilow section is reserved for
Smilow patients only
. Once parked, take elevator/stairwell to the 4th floor of the parking
garage. Please walk to the Smilow Cancer Hospital Park St. Atrium Entrance, which is
accessed from inside the garage, on the fourth floor. Once you enter building, take the
stairs or elevator down to the 2nd floor. You will see the YaleCME registration table
outside the auditorium.


OR if parking elsewhere, you will enter the hospital on the ground level. Please proceed
to the elevators in Smilow Cancer Hospital lobby, and go to the fourth floor (Feel free to
ask front desk directions to Smilow elevators upon entering hospital). Once you arrive
on the fourth floor, follow overhead signs labeled “Bridge to Air Rights Garage”. You
will cross the indoor bridge and take the elevator down to the 2nd floor. You will see the
YaleCME registration table outside the auditorium.

Parking Information
Air Rights Garage. Open 24 hours a day and located between North and South Frontage
roads, straddling York St. The garage is monitored by Yale-New Haven Hospital
Protective Services. Rates: 0–3 hours: $3 per hour; 4–10 hours: $12 flat fee; 10–24 hours:
$18 flat fee.

If you choose to park in the Smilow Cancer Hospital section of Air Rights
Garage, which is reserved for patients, there is a daily flat rate of $25.00 regardless of time
spent.

Please Note: No parking tickets are validated for the conference.
