Interventional radiology is an approach to care for patients who can benefit from minimally invasive image-guided therapies. Advancements in interventional care afford improved patient care, quality and overall outcomes. These new therapies are best served with a multidisciplinary team approach coordinated by a health care team of different specialties involved in the treatment. The development of multidisciplinary care teams has been shown to improve the outcome of patients.

1. Discuss the latest developments in interventional image-guided therapies.
2. Identify interventional therapies appropriate in particular clinical situations.
3. Describe the latest image-guided therapies
4. Explore current and future research in interventional therapies
5. Discuss new collaborative research opportunities in Interventional Radiology
