Overview
Glaucoma is one of the leading causes of global blindness, affecting nearly 3 million Americans. In the past decade, new advances in diagnostic, medical, and surgical treatments have led to greater patient awareness and demand for increasedquality of care. This course is designed to educate clinicians regarding innovative techniques to improve care to patients afflicted with this disease.

Objectives
  1. Explain how to use trabecular meshwork bypass stents
  2. Describe how to use newest devices for goniotomy
  3. Inform how to use newest devices for trabeculotomy
  4. Discuss how to use newest devices for minimally invasive bleb surgery
  5. Identify how to use the newest medications on the glaucoma market
  6. Define how the rates of laser iridotomies have decreased over time
  7. Explain how to use iridoplasty
  8. Discuss how to manage complications from micro invasive glaucoma surgeries
